As a person who considers smutto "interesting", I call that thing an abomination--a "thanksgiving turkey wrap" with imitation/genengineered everything!!

And Nick's going to eat one the size of a good sized baby.

And Legs is going to use that to manage her appetite? I had no idea she was bulemic. :P

Actually a saladupa is closer to a cold soup with too much in it.

You'll get a picture tomorrow. The good news? Much of the weight is water. Better for Nick, and certainly easier on Szupa's bottom line. :-)

My favorite of the item names in the first panel is "maplish syrup".

It may be a combination of two or more items, as the other seem to be, but I read it as maple-ish. So its maple, but with all the probably quality issues that come when tacking an -ish on the end.

EDIT: Oh, and are the two guys in the background from the contest?

EDIT jr: And for the lazy-ish, non-metric-centric people, I believe 5500 grams is 12.1254 lbs.\

How many Quarterpounders would that be? Do the bun and toppings with the quarter pound patty push it up to between 1/2 lb and 3/4 lb per sandwich? So between 18 and 24 Quarterpounder equivalents (likely with a yes to both "Do you want fries with that?" and "Would you like to Supersize your order?").

Yeah, those "quality issues" will get you. And yet, I can go to the store right now and find "SUGAR FREE Maple flavored Syrup!!!" And at a higher price then the real thing because it's touted as "healthy."(*)

(*) Which to be fair it is if you happen to be diabetic, but for the rest of us [i]I don theenk so!)

And then there's the issue that that 1/4lb is measuring before cooking, where presumably some of it is burned (for lack of a better term, off the top of my head) away.

But, yeah, whatever the actual values, that much is about what would feed an entire game's worth of basketball players (that is, both teams), and then some.

Or about a fortnights worth of calories. And all consumed at once.
