Are uncomfortably close together now. Ten meters is shouting distance easily. Assuming that Tarfeather is still owned by Max, the only reason they're not all dead yet is that Max isn't the kind to sacrifice his own life.

I'm thinking that if Max takes a breath deep enough to shout he's going to find there's suddenly a lot less room in his lungs, what with the crushing robot arms and all.

I think somewhere along the way Para has learned some strategy...it seems she's using Max as a "human shield"
