I must say, while I am impressed at how much better expressions are being rendered, the lines all around characters' faces the past few strips has started delving into the "creepy" territory at times.

(Monday's strip) Hm... what could Kathryn want from Tagon Senior? She's currently looking for employment, but retired generals don't have much need for discharged intelligence operatives. Or is she hoping he can convince his son to take her on? Yeah, like that'll happen...

Or she's looking for advice on how to talk Tagon into it herself. Or she might simply be looking for personal advice, one ex-military person living in exile to another. After all, they're both somewhat on the lam now. General Tagon has said that Celeschul law mandated retired generals have "quiet retirements, or treason charges." Something tells me the Paris Incident probably does not qualify as a quiet retirement, given that they mounted a full scale armed incursion and deployed a superweapon inside the Sol system in an effort to rescue the general. That's arguably worse, actually, than shooting a UNS covert agent in self defense and stealing his intel.

Or she just wants to help out her friends who are currently in UNS space. But to simplify things, this time she will bring a gunship right from the start! This cannot possibly go wrong!

Such a news report would not necessarily be an indication that anything went wrong... It could be an indication that everything went EXACTLY as planned!
