Ok, other than being more stylish, and apparent ability to affix additional gear and power supply (and being possible powered assistance), what's the main advantage of the new tailored suits that everyone (but Schlock) is wearing and the older fullerene slip suits that's still being wear on non-combat situation?

Tagon's Tough already have a squad of powered hard suit lead by Elf. How does the new suit compared to the older powered hard suit?

The only two advantage the older suit have over the new suit is subtlety. You cannot be mistaken to be unarmed in the new suit. And the new suit is bulkier, and they actually have to put it on, where as the old slip suit is always worn.

If memory serves, low profile armor while awesome against unarmored targets and small weapons fire, is many, many, levels below the abilities of actual armored suits.

Low profile armor is a "why not" safeguard. The protection and abilities they provide are substantial when compared to the unarmored. If you could be bullet proof, vacuum proof, crush proof, super strong, and able to fly with little to no drawbacks, why wouldn't you use it? However, the low profile armor has been unable to protect the toughs in certain situations, which I would imagine solid armor would do better.

These suits for example. They managed from a full plasma bath, something the normal low profile armor would not do. As evidenced by the precautions taken here(not to mention various situations in the past). If the toughs are lucky the new armor can at least perform as well as those ablators did.

More question regarding the 2 mini cannons on Tagon's back and the 2 hand cannons that's docked to his thighs on the Tailored Suit. By the looks of it, they're probably made by Toughs' fabber and Tailor puts on his final touch and then add 'em to the suits.

I can probably assume that these cannons are based on Strohl Munitions' design (they seemed to have a dominating position in weapons sales and design in Schlockverse). Toughs either paid licensing fee to be able to fab it, or they're using their own design. One of the reason why company now pay for licensing fee (and support contract) is for the support. I presume Strohl Munitions got a good chunk of their revenue back from license fee. You don't want to cut corner on building Plasma cannon that blows up in your face.

I know given enough time (and motivation), Kevyn can probably put together his own unique design. But there's really no point in re-inventing the guns, when perfectly serviceable ones exist already.

I just wanna say how much I love the new armor design. It's got a semi-organic look to it.
The way the headpiece protects them from the back even when the helmet is open is a goos idea.

They probably have their low-profile stuff on underneath like they did back when they were fighting Shufgar's forces.

Since Schlock did that ad for Strohl Munitions I would assume they give him a discount on all his purchases.

Just how much money is Schlock getting from the Schlock cartoon that's sponsored by Strohl Munitions?

Is Tagon? He and the other toughs presumably feature in the cartoon

I wonder if Brad and Pronto's families still get a cut. Hell, I wonder if Hob's family gets a cut. The cartoon had already been going for six-months of real-time by the time he died (Cartoon merchandise, Hob's funeral).
