I seem to recall a zombie walking around. Its evident that some amount of time has passed. Is that zombie still walking? Did it walk away in the confusion of Schlock's crater?

Time has passed. We're in Schlock's POV right now, and we're aboard ship instead of down below. You're SUPPOSED to be wondering what happened with that zombie. The reason Schlock hasn't asked about it is that he doesn't remember it.

Does it matter? What this tells us is that if time has passed and everyone seems to be still alive and well, that there is not all that much suspense.
