I guess Schlock hasn't gotten used to immortality yet.

It's possible that like himself (remember "I'm not the one that feel down the hole"?) he considers any dead friend that rezzes a new friend.

I don't feel that statement indicates any strange psychology. Schlock didn't fall down the hole! It literally wasn't part of his chain of existence. Schlock A and Schlock B were individual people that split off from a common template at the time of Petey's non-consensual backup. Schlock A hopped into a bath, went on the mission to Oisri, did something phenomenally stupid, then died. Schlock B hopped into a bath and then woke up with a few weeks missing to find out that Schlock A had died in the meantime. While you could easily argue that Schlock B would have made the same decisions in that situation, it can't be reasonably said that he made them in the first place. For Schlock, it was more like seeing a thought exercise, alternate reality, or simulation play out of what he'd do under a certain set of circumstances. Schlock didn't die, but alternate reality Schlock did.

I think the fact that he refers to Ebby by name (and Murtaugh for that matter) are clear indications he feels they're the same people. Philosophically, I think it's safe to say they are, with the caveat that they are damaged and possibly incomplete versions of those people. This is assuming the backups are up to date... the less up to date they are, the greater the distance between the revived person and the person they were at time of death, in addition to the distance created by whatever damage was sustained. Identity discontinuity is weird.

Nothing strange about it.

Schlock died. He was remade with memories from the prior Schlock.
Ebby has died. He's been remade with memories from the prior Ebby.

Well, some of the memories of the prior Ebby, anyway. Not sure how well a RED backup handles being cooked by a plasma beam.

Odd that some of the systems seem to be scrambled.
Maybe odder that scrambled-egg Ebbie is unrestrained. I guess Doc still has low-profile armor, and Ebbie has a bathrobe.

Ebby has TWO eyebrows. That's different.

(Unrelated to the first point ... ) I am now officially worried that the Archive infected him. What effect this has? Unknown. Likelihood of it being a good thing: not a chance. (c.f. http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2014-06-26 last cell.)

Also, I'm pretty-sure scrambled eggs mean bastardy, not babel.

Ebby has had two eyebrows for a while. Howard took artistic license so it would be easier to portray emotions.

As for your second point, I was worried before: now I'm almost certain.

Eby has had 2 eyebrows for a long time. It's artistic license so the Glorious Artist can better make his face expressive.

And that me just picking an arbitrary point in the archive where I knew Ebby had two eyebrows (the Glamour Assault mission). I'm pretty sure someone else could go back further...

And the oldest of all... sorry lost the beat.

This being when Ebby signed up. It may not be Ebby, but there is a Unioc in the line and he appears to me to have one half of two eyebrows.
