When the small end of your cone of fire is wider than a full grown man, you know you've got the good stuff.

Visors in personal armour must have pretty spiffy filters. Welding mask has nothing on it, considering how much light should plasma from those guns emit. This also raises question just how resistant amorph eyes are, I'm pretty sure his trademark plasma gun could destroy unprotected camera easily.

Well I don't know. He's used it around unarmored people before and it hasn't resulted in people's eyes burning out just from watching. Consider that Neeka got radiation poisoning, but no overt damage when he shot the bag she was holding right out of her hands.

Light from plasma isn't actually that intense, it seems to be mostly just a by-product from intense heat. I used plasma cutters for my previous job: the eye protection required was far less than for arc welding. I'm not sure what the scale is, but tig welding required a shade 10 or higher, while plasma cutting required only a shade 3.

Of course, both those shades have full IR and UV protection.
