This book was not satisfying. It's the first book to have that property for me.

The 5 part outline:
Part 1: dec 5th
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2016-12-05

-- Drydock, crew adjustments, etc.

Part 2: Feb 13th
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2017-02-13

-- Deploying ships
-- Earth's intelligence agency
-- Arrival inside the all star
-- "We should kill the contract and pay the penalty"
-- Destroying information is on someone's agenda.
-- Petey's lecture on MAD

Part 3: March 4th
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2017-05-04

-- Deployment of CQ-101
-- First battle, diversion, attempt to get to the vault.

Part 4: June 18th
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2017-06-18

-- Sound effects (Discrepancies)
-- Putzho being promoted
-- Schlock's conscience
-- Organ flush
-- Attack start

Part 5: July 9th
http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2017-07-09

-- Sound effects (Interruption, Check-Off)
-- Warship combat as an indoor sport
--

Epilogue: Sep 10th

The issues:

/2016-12-23
-- We find that helmets deploy automatically, yet Tagon's helmet was a manual deploy

What was the purpose of the bank funds game? Was it just a distraction? Were we supposed to get another shoe dropping from it?

What was the big deal with "Brain food"? Nothing came from that.

We got nothing from the Fobott'r plotline at all

/2017-02-15
-- There's no evidence that they are smart. Yet there's Putzo.

How did Andreyasn get such good knowledge of Tagon's ship so quickly? (Or is it as simple as her brother can't keep a secret?)

/2017-06-16
"This... thing we do. Being backed up. It won't stop death. Since I want to stay alive, I do what all good soldiers do. Never trust your hiding place, and always shoot first".

What exactly was the goal of the agents?
-- It wasn't destroying the vault/location data. They had long guns, and knew it's location.
-- They destroyed information about where the ship had been before the encounter with the all-star

As far as I can tell, the only things accomplished are:
1. The galaxy now knows about the All Star
2. Putzho is an All Star agent on the outside. (Effectively a petey-wanna-be)
3. The data in the offline vault now points to a ruined remains of a former star system? ... How was an offline data vault modified?

... And presumably, the All Star demonstrates that it can move a solar mass without being detected.

===

Forum oddity: I'm limited to only 5 URL's. Even if all of them are schlock mercenary links on the schlock mercenary forum.

Forum oddity 2: Even removing the "http://" in front, it's still considered a link, and the prefix comes back.

It was "steal everyone's attention for a day or two while we grab and upload ourselves into a conveniently defect CQ-101 and mail us into the facility."

The agents did not have long guns. The Allstar had long guns, but the Allstar knows long guns always have a chance of sounding the death knell of galactic civilization which it doesn't want to hasten.

Presumably by one of the many, many suborned platforms that were running around.

Eliminate the data with a minimum loss of life, AND force the allstar to produce a free agent for future effect.

Free agent or "ambassador/alternative to the psychobear at the center of the galaxy"?

Putzho needs a lot more power to be an alternative to the chewy pyschobear center of the universe.

Not even remotely exclusive.
