So, is that an uplifted Dolphin in the screen creeping along the floor?

Certainly looks like some variety of uplifted Terran aquatic fauna.

Also, Petey had 100 cities? That comes out to an average of 80 million residents, which says quite a bit to Schlockverse construction and life support technologies.

Not the first time we've seen a Dolphin like that.

I don't see any Dolphins in that link.

(And my internet is having problems with the Schlock Merc hosting site today, so checking back and forth through the archive is beyond my capacity right now)

I didn't make the connection, myself, as I don't know the scientific name for Dolphin, but there are two ambulatory screens, both marked AFK, in the referenced comic, and the words "Atlantic pods" are tied to them. I thought they were AI reporters when I originally read the strip.

Tursiops is the genus of bottlenose dolphins. (I learned that from Larry Niven, of all places, too many years ago.) Tursiops contains a currently uncertain number of dolphin species.

Aha, there it is. So we've had a hint at possible uplifted Dolphins previously, but this is still out (possible) first glimpse of one.

Funny that the only (possible) sign we've seen so far are some remote screen robots. Since Schlockiverse tech can enable an uplifted Octopus to walk around on land in its own personal water tank with legs, it should give uplifted Dolphins some type of watertight skin-moisture preserving wetsuit complete with annie power for flight. Or perhaps just with legs as well.

They probably don't want all that. Just swimming around, playing games, and composing echo poetry.

Octopi can squeeze themselves through tiny crevices. Consequently, uplifted octopi probably don't have a proclivity toward claustrophobia.
I have to wonder that they don't use the same type of holoremotes as everyone else, however. It shouldn't be hard to modify the existing design to include echolocation data for the user back home.
Maybe it's a cultural thing.
