Since this one is doing the rounds on various forums, I might as well post it here as well:

Build towers to keep the enemies from reaching the end of the course. Earn money from killing enemies. Build new towers. Rinse, repeat.
It's strangely addictive. :)

was fun, the first time. Second time, not so fun. Oh well, I had fun with it.

Made it into the second bonus round. Didn't quite have enough towers to deal with 7000 HP each baddies.
