I guess he didn't expect the reaction, that's all.

(oh, and whoever manages to work in "autoprotolysis" as some form of pun wins ;))

Puns in a POLITICAL forum? I swear, are you guys on acid or something?

Hey, with a topic this Corrosive you need to lighten it up a bit. Would I Lye to you? I'm surprised that Arafat died naturally instead of Israel getting hot and popping a few capsicum in him.

Stating that Bush showing up at a NASCAR event, and being backed by any of the teams or drivers, could be seen as an auto-pro-tolysis of the voting pool.

But that's based around the wrong person. We were discussing Arafat. Besides, it takes all the fun out to have words prescribed for use in this format.

Yes indeed. We were discussing Arafat and making chemistry puns.

So, did you all hear--when they unloaded his coffin, there was a frigging MOB waiting that charged the hearse?

Good thing that the people coordinating it predicted that and had so many police officers keeping an ion the scene.

All right you two, the caustic/corrosive punnery has been saturated. Find something new. Chemistry is more than just acidity.

Perhaps puns on common molecular structures?

If one can be made by me, than ol of you folks should be able to do it.

His legacy is largly to have polerized many attitudes on both sides. or perhaps the polerised attitudes that existed before he rose to power are what gave him his magnetic personality.
