The Bush administration's latest ad is a pack of crap.

And, just for kicks, Wolfpacks for Truth.

There's another article on that over at http://www.factcheck.org/

There arn't any effective laws against false campaign ads.

Hurrah for free speech.

Mayhaps Kerry's people could do a counter ad detailing the administration's attacks on the Endangered Species Act? Using the same stock footage?

"Wolves: proud, endangered, never in the history of this country implicated in an attack on human beings. Just another group the Bush administration harasses instead of going after the real terrorists?"
It would be a great cut, but they're probably too square to try it.

While one could assume there must be some serious weak spots in Kerry's Senate record, whenever BC04's ads go beyond generalized criticism, they invariably use falsified data. Either Kerry's a saint (which I'm sure no one here believes) or Rove's people are so compulsively mendacious they never put that kind of effort into their opposition research.

Mail it to them. Who knows you might get a young and eager volunteer to read it and they'll pitch and be able to sell it to their manager.
