The Nightstar Zoo

Well, after much debate and discussion (and surprisingly little bloodshed), the Nighstar IRC Network now has a logo.

It wasn't an easy decision; we received 33 entries in all. And they were <i>good</i> - almost any of them would have made excellent logos for Nightstar. Thank you to everyone who entered - the quality of your entries made this a hard decision. In the end, though, there could only be one winner (as much as we regretted it). Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Nightstar IRC Network's new official logo, designed by NRGSpoon:

We feel this logo has it all - style, simplicity, and a color scheme designed to match that of our site.

The esteemed NRGSpoon will receive a lovely T-shirt featuring his logo, bragging rights, and a Protected status in the New Order (it pays to have friends).

If you're planning to attend the San Diego Comic-Con, keep an eye out - you might just see us handing out our business cards!

You know, I never used these forums before.

And hey, guess what? I still don't have my t-shirt. But truthfully, I wasn't really worried about it.

Oggy's on it, actually - although he's got a big move cluttering things up right now.

With luck, we'll have these in time for Comic-Con.

When is Comic-Con? If it's late enough out, I may be able to afford to have a bunch of cards printed up. Although they really did nothing directly last time, it does increase our 'brand recognition' as it were.
