 Post subject: Epistemwology?
PostPosted: Mon Feb 16, 2004 11:09 pm
I've seen the word "knwo" often enough in this forum to strongly suspect that it's more than a simple typo. Having taken a delightfully amusing epistemology class, I presume that ye are using this word as a substitute for the traditionally problematic "know." What exactly does "knwo" mean? Is it the conventional meaning of the word "know" from the days before the epistemologists butchered it?

Eh, probably the same reason "what" used to be "hwat" - although you rarely ever see that as a typo. But hey, life would be boring if we never butchered our language.
