The world's first Creationist museum - dedicated to the idea that the creation of the world, as told in Genesis, is factually correct - will soon open. Stephen Bates is given a sneak preview and asks: was there really a tyrannosaurus in the Bible?

Is this the one with the immortal picture of the triceratops with a saddle?

Not too likely. How much of their stuff do you read? Oftentimes, their magazines can be more of the same. But there's always that one article that makes me want to go back to them for more.

For example, one article on string theory gave me an explanation for one of the biggest plot holes in the account of Easter that I feel makes perfect sense, assuming you can believe there are more than three dimensions of space.

Also, another article suggested that the universe is finite and is shaped like an onion. I have no trouble subscribing to that.

1. What video game universe is infinite? Answer: None! Without RAM limitations and OS task management, no video game console could ever run a single video game.
2. What universe of sorts can exist inside a living cell if the cell has no wall and no membrane? Answer: None! While the cell is mostly empty space on the atomic level, destroy the membrane and the cell dies.

If we can accept that freedom is relative in realtion to these things, then why can this principle not apply to the universe as a whole? Who says anyone has to subscribe to traditional Big Bang ideas?

I once considered writing a treatise on how radcially different western culture may end up being if even one of the traditional Big Bang model's assumptions - an infinite universe - were reversed.

I know this may be overwhelming; but my point is, don't sell those guys short.
