What do you carry when your out and about?

Kimber Pro-Carry .45 with federal hydro-shok hollow points. Occasionally a NAA guardian .25 in an ankle holster. Extendable baton, and a Smith an Wesson S.W.A.T. folding knife.

Right now I have a CZ-52, shooting Tokarav 7.62x25 full copper jacket, sitting in the back of my car.

If I could get a license in this stupid country, I *would* be carrying a CZ-75 and two spare mags. 9mm hydroshock or talons, 15 per magazine. And before you ask, yes that is a lot of rounds. I do security part time, so running away isn't really an option whereas clearing buildings definitely is.

My first choice would be a Glock 17, but my thumb sits right on the mag release, so I get to choose between a comfortable grip and having rounds in the weapon. *shrug*

The legal situation being what it is in South Africa, though, I'm likely to be unarmed for quite some time -- possibly indefinitely. *sigh*

I have a Firestar M-45, which I carry loaded with Hydra-Shoks. Nice little gun - a gunsmith pal of mine slicked up the trigger some and polished the feed ramp. It will never be a target pistol, but it's accurate enough for the job and very user-friendly.
