I've been playing around with the nutrition data from the USDA
in order to build a better diet.
I'm trying to lose weight, and I take a perverse pleasure in not doing things the "normal" way. I've had a variety of crazy (but logically perfect of course) schemes some of which have worked, and some of which have not worked. Most have been fairly simple, this one is considerably more elaborate.
The idea of this bit of rabid nonconformity is to build a nutritionally complete diet in the least amount of calories. This would then be supplimented with however many calories I needed to lose weight at a reasonable and healthy pace.

I've got a lot of information to add and I need to check that the units in the RDA data match those used in the USDA data.
