Where "Ten-Pepper" means something like "forty days and forty nights" - no one knows or cares how many.

Ingredients:
1 pound chicken
2 small cans of Cream of Chicken
1 of EVERY pepper you can get ahold of. Only one of each, and don't miss any.

Line a casserole dish with slices of chicken.
Chop the peppers:
Skinny peppers into little circles, large pepeprs into strips.

Lay out the strips in a criss-cross pattern over the chicken. Lay the circles over that. Make it mathematical and cool looking.

Stir together the cream of chicken and 2 cans of water together until well-mixed. Pour this into the center of the pan, letting it seep throughout.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Take out. Enjoy.

It tastes GREAT. Feel free to not eat the peppers, as some of them are extreme hazards.

The peppers were $1. Cream was $2. Chicken was about $2, but I already had it. Alltogether, $5 for a really yummy dinner that stuffed me and made my nose full of fire when I accidentally rubbed it.

Before adding the cream:

That'd be chicken breast, right? Not sliced or chopped chicken meat, or parts.

I sliced the breasts an inch thick. That way the spices get to more of the meat. :)

Not that you can see in the picture... ¬_¬

This recipe was a collaborative effort between Woap and me. Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste any of it.

*rubs Ogre's nose*

It's cheap, silly. ;) Make some! Fun for the whole family! Especially if you can use habaneros! (They've been known to give me respiratory arrest, so I didn't get any, naturally.)

Peppers are still expensive up here.

Looked at them just the other day... Green bell peppers were going for 3/$1 and red, orange, and yellow were all $1.50 EACH. Other peppers were just as spendy.

As for pepper dishes, if I'm cooking it for the whole family, I can't use anything hot... Mom's a real weakling when it comes to spicy stuff.

And I don't generally tend to cook for just myself. If it's just me eating, the most ambitious I'll usually get is a couple packets of ramen without fancying up. Usually it's Chef Boyardee. Open can, insert spoon.
