First, read this transcript to get an idea.

Now... my idea right now is try to do a mix... "Kenya" with the lyrics of "Anarchy in the UK" in the background.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand what you're doing or why. And what do you want suggestions for? Software? Hardware?

Why, there is why. What--we're trying to make a class presentation more interesting.

What I'm asking for... just something fun to shake my booty too.

Does it have to be lewd (the LJ article made me think it did), or just some dance song. What kind of speed are you looking for (BPM). Would you be against using a remix from Overclocked Remix?

That could work.

Lewd? Nah.

I'm looking for "WTF."

Anything by The Residents is WTF-worthy by definition.

Nice. I've started BitTorrent on the first 500 songs of ocremix.org. I figure it'll be nice stuff to have playing in the gaming rooms at Fandemonium.

I prefer to pick and choose off of OC Remix myself. I find that it's more fun when I have played the games the song came from.

My personal faves are Trippin' on Snails (Rygar), and Metal Man goes Clubbin' (Mega Man II). There are also some really good ones dones to Space Harrier and Zillion.

Playing through my playlist, I came across a few songs that are kinda weird that you might like to try

"Amazing Grace" - Dropkick Murpheys (yes that AG, but done with a bagpipe and a rock band)

"Polkamon" - Weird Al (come on! It's hilarious!)

"It's Time to Start" - Blue Man Group (this one would be cool, cuz it calls out "rock concert movements" to do to the beat)

If you want to get really weird, I have some Russian and Japanese songs that make good dance songs too.

Ah, why didn't anyone mention Japanese before?

I doubt anything is a match for the Galaxy Angels opening song in terms of weirdness and WTFquotient.

The best WTF song, when cranked at an office place that is just a song, but widely released...

Is "Cats on Mars" or any of the remixes.

I almost got fired for that song once, they were convinced I was just doing cats yowling in heat over my computer speakers.
