I'm just surfing the web, reading my e-mail and POW! A STOP error on Windows 2000.
So I poke the reset button, watch it reboot, then Windows says my swap file is too small and it's increasing its size.
I'm thinking WTH?! Then I'm thinking OSHIT! And I check the RAM size in My Computer properties.
Instead of saying 512 meg as it has ever since I put the box together, it now says 523,764K
ACK! It just lost 524K somehow. The amazing thing is that it still effing works.
The @#%@%#@%$ thing is now I "get to" buy new RAM. I was planning to toss another 512meg in soon, but now I'll be replacing it instead.
(And I just installed a new all-format dual layer DVD burner Wednesday.)
